Austrians_Hasselblad 500C/M

From my series "Old handcraft".

 

Richard Wimmer, shoemaker and shoe repairman in Retz, Lower-Austria. With 76 years he is still working day for day in his workshop in the Lehengasse in Retz. Among old machines, shoes and leather, Richard has been working there since decades. Even his father was working there as a shoemaker and from him Richard learned the business of a shoemaker and repairer.

I had the luck to meet this wonderful old man and he told me a lot about his business. At last he gave me the permission to take some pictures from him.

Carl Zeiss Planar 80mm f1:2.8

film: Kodak T-Max 400 @ 400 ISO

Developed with Adox APH 09 (Rodinal), 10min/20°. Ilford rapid fixer 4+1 at 9min/20°.

Dilution 1:50, agitation the first minute then 1 per minute.

Location: Lehengasse 12 / Retz / Austria
