Cross Creek
On a humid Ohioan Summer morning, Wheeling & Lake Erie 218, the Brewster to Rook Manifest, rolls downhill over Cross Creek near New Alexandria, Ohio. In a few short miles, the Conductor will set out most of its train in the yard at Mingo Junction, including the 3rd and 4th locomotives in the consist. After the set out, the locomotives will run light power up the slide to make an LPG pickup before continuing over the Ohio River into West Virginia toward PA. Yesterday morning's train had two out of three of the GM Demonstrators in the lead, which have been rumored to be repainted soon.
