A little #throwback action from the summer of 1985. Norfolk Southern hosted a steam passenger excursion, pulled by Norfolk & Western 611, from Portsmouth, Ohio to Cincinnati over the "Peavine" branch. I intended to chase the train for a few miles out of Portsmouth, but didn't find a stopping place and wound up chasing it all the way to Cincinnati.*****
