GWR Saddle Tank on first train test run

Great Western Railway saddle tank 813 on its first test run - with a train - since being restored at the Severn Valley Railway. The loco, built by Hudswell Clarke in 1901, is pictured crossing the River Severn on Victoria Bridge with three GWR toplight carriages on a sunny and very warm afternoon, Tuesday August 16th 2016. The engine was scheduled to spend the week on train test runs between Bridgnorth (where it's based) and Kidderminster.
