Steam locomotive 2857 on the Severn Valley Railway at Hampton Loade

Former Great Western Railway steam locomotive 2857 on the Severn Valley Railway (SVR) at a location you don't often see in photographs. The Swindon-built engine is passing the mobile home park close to the Unicorn Inn just north of Hampton Loade railway station in Shropshire. It is pictured from the opposite side of the River Severn, close to the blue iron bridge that carries a private road to the Water Treatment Works. 2857 is hauling the Intermediate Footplate Experience train from Kidderminster to Bridgnorth on the morning of Saturday November 1st 2014.
