The famous JACOBITE steam train pictured here in the pretty mountain scenery near Morar on the West Highland railway close to its destination at Mallaig in Scotland. This is the first train of the day - the 10.15 from Fort William. The steam locomotive is a William Stanier designed ex-LMS 4-6-0 Class 5MT "Black 5" 45231 Sherwood Forester in British Railways livery. It is climbing at this point before the steep drop down into Mallaig about two miles north of here. The locomotive was missing The Jacobite headboard.
