The Buttercup Railway!

In a wild flower paradise - 43106 The Flying Pig crosses Oldbury Viaduct on the Severn Valley Railway. I had to lie down flat in mud to get this picture. The Ivatt Class 4 steam locomotive has just left Bridgnorth in Shropshire with the 12.25 train to Kidderminster on Sunday June 1st 2014 - a lovely sunny, warm day. Just visible under the brick arches is the 15th century flour mill - Daniel's Mill - and England's largest working cast iron waterwheel. The sound of wildlife here was wonderful as I waited for the Pig to arrive: birdsong, pheasants, bumblebees. There was a duck and newly hatched chicks. Dragonflies.
