Chocolate letters

In the Netherlands, Sinterklaas ("Saint Nicholas", the patron saint of childeren) is celebrated on December 5th. Chocolate letters are a traditional gift.

Sinterklaas is not to be confused with Santa Claus.

 

This large outdoor ceramic typographic mural, made by Anna Malcka-Zamorski in the 1970s, reminded me of chocolate letters. Wrocław, Poland.
