A small child's nightmare bed
Day 334
We stood in a field, one where trees had been clear-cut and what remained was nothing more than what looked like some sad, ancient war zone. The grass was mostly dead, the dirt had gone from brown to gray, and the one tree that did still stand was bare and leaning like a creature over a small child's nightmare bed.
- John Corey Whaley, Where Things Come Back
That book is probably one of all-time favourites. I have been meaning to start a list but I am overwhelmed with my choices. I just started (and finished) Panic by Lauren Oliver and I loved it too. Aghh.
I probably won't take any incredibly creative pictures for the next few days, today I started this months round of treatment and I can already tell it's going to be rougher than usual. Then again, the fatigue could have something to do with spending the better part of last night hanging off the edge of a twin-mattress because both of sisters woke up with nightmares. I had one too, and their calling actually woke me up from it so I couldn't complain too much. It's strange how we are so alike but so very unique.
Anyways, I'm packing it in early tonight ;) See you tomorrow!
