1.5 head
Closeup of the 1967 1.5 litre head being used on Duane's car. Same port configurations as a 1.9 head, but the chambers are smaller, and the original valves are smaller too. I've fitted 1.85" intake and 1.50" exhaust valves (small block Chevy, made by Manley), with appropriate Crower springs and titanium retainers to allow for 8500 rpms with a safety cushion. However this engine has a much smaller cam than the original intent, so rpms are limited to about 7500. Chambers are unshrouded for added flow, compression ratio is a bit over 11:1 with the flat top pistons, and the head has been milled .030"/.75 mm.
