Reaching out

I thought I was in the middle of nowhere Utah (The Upper Cathedral Valley in the Capitol Reef) and so I wasn't expecting any light pollution from the area of Provo, Salt Lake City to the north,

 

Lesson learned; take this type of photo down in a valley and not on a ridge line.
