--pretending to ignore me...

I was walking along the shore

(probably a bit too close to the water) when I noticed this gator sitting very still --not too far from me...

I backed off a bit and took some shots. I was there maybe 15 minutes, and this guy didn't move a muscle----but I have no doubt that he was very aware of me at all times....

He was fairly small--maybe 5-6 feet (1.5-1.8m)-----but big enough...... :)
