Honey Bee and Firebush
Was very happy to see this Honey Bee--- I have been seeing so few bees in this area--especially honey bees...
No bumble bees at all.
The difference from just two years ago in the amount of bees is striking.
Maybe it's more in my area, and others aren't seeing as much of a reduction.......
We really need to start educating the public about the spraying of pesticides, and making sure they aren't planting flowers with pesticides engineered into them. (This is more common than people think....)
Any type of GMO (Genetically modified organism) could not be good for insects or people....
I have always been an optimistic person, but I'm concerned that we need to do something soon to help the bees..........
