Trip to Maine for PUG
Its not everyday that people get out of Oklahoma for a trip to Portland Maine. We traveled together from Oklahoma City to Portland Maine, We saw a lot of stuff along the way, some good, some bad, some we did not know what it was. Andy likes to sleep a lot on planes, buses and meetings, John does not like to sit next to Andy on planes. (upgraded his seat and all only to find out it was next to Andy's!) Virgil likes to see the world through his eyes and see things people don't see everyday. Like say you get on the train at the airport, and you see all the bars in there, I guess that means you need to hang on, Oh Yes, you do, about fell on my ass.....Portland has some good seafood, Lobsters being one of them. In Old Port, there are boats, birds, bikes, buildings, ocean, weird smells, people everywhere, beer and more seafood. We even saw these people(women and one dude) painting their pets and drinking wine. Well they were painting pictures of their pets. The Doubletree Hotel was nice, good food and rooms. We went to Sunday River Ski Resort (No Snow)and saw some Turkeys on the slopes, people Zip lining and hanging around. Be careful in the woods playing Frisbee or you could fall into the bushes. Bus rides are fun. Memories are always going to be there. The PUG Conference was great Maine did a good job, next year we head to Grand Rapids, Michigan....heard it has some beer or something there.
