A historically significant vandaceous hybrid, notably well-known for garden landscaping and commercial cut flowers throughout the 1970s.
Wong Leong Fatt of Federal Orchids in Penang is best remembered as the breeder of this hybrid from which several clones were so sought after during the Christine crzae in 1972. He was also the only local breeder who had won the Eric Hottum Gold Medal twice in two consecutive years.
