Midland Railway Centre

I must be fond of the Midland Railway Centre as I have visited it enough times. I have taken plenty of photos there and have a lot more to upload.

There is a foot path at the top of the embankment which goes from Butterley to Swanwick. It is to be avoided when muddy and if like me you are now not so steady on your feet. However I have fond memories of walking the path on a fine summer’s day with the railway on one side of me and a sea of wheat ready to be harvested on my other side.
