This locomotive was built by Brush Traction in 1965 as D1925. It became 47248 under the TOPS system in 1973. In 1984 it became 47616 when fitted with Electric Train Heating equipment and then 47789 in 1995 when it gained push-pull facilities. At the time of this photograph it was named Y Ddraig/Red Dragon. Later it carried the name Lindisfarne. It was officially withdrawn in 2007 and sold for scrapping the same year
