Sunday 9th July 1989 at Buckinghamshire Railway Centre.
“Hilsea” was built by Ruston & Hornsby of Lincoln in 1961 who gave it the works number of 463153. It spent its working life with British Gas (Southern) at Hilsea Gas Works near Portsmouth where it carried the fleet number 1139. After being retired it moved to the Buckinghamshire Railway Centre in 1986 where it was operational for several years but is currently out of service waiting for maintenance work
