Peckett 0-4-0ST “Gibraltar”
Sunday 9th July 1989 at Buckinghamshire Railway Centre.
Peckett 0-4-0ST, Works No. 2087 of 1948 was the only locomotive in steam but was not working on passenger trains. It was at that time named “Gibraltar”. Before preservation this locomotive worked for Courtaulds at a number of locations. It was replaced by a diesel in and was preserved eventually finding its way to the Buckinghamshire Railway Centre in 1983. Following an overhaul it is currently operational again
