One of Two Three Mast Sailing Ship at Harwich. (it's Lord Nelson)
Summer 1991 at Harwich. There were two Three Mast Sailing Ships at Harwich on this date. My thin notes for the day did not give the name of either. However thanks to Dave Forbes I now know this one to be Lord Nelson (see comments)
Lord Nelson was built and designed especially so that the able bodied and handicapped can crew her on equal terms. It has adaptation for the blind, wheelchair users and others. It belongs to the Jubilee Sailing trust. As well as Lord Nelson the Trust owns Tenacious which has similar facilities and can be seen in the background of this photograph.
This is yet another of my photos which was probably taken with cheap film. The negative is long lost and as the print colours had deteriorated here in the tropical heat I converted it to black & white
