33046 Merlin at Eastleigh

Friday 16th July 1992 and 33046 in Dutch Livery by Eastleigh Station.

 

33046 was built by Birmingham railway Carriage & Wagon Company in 1961. It was withdrawn 46 years later 2007. She avoided scrapping and is now preserved on the East Lancashire Railway but her future is not secure as she is stored there and used as a spares donor.
