The Bridge Over The River Kwai, Thailand.

This photograph was taken on 27th September 1994 on what was my first visit here. I have been back many times since and for my family and me it is a favourite place. Of course the bridge looks nothing like the one depicted in the book and the film which was shot in Sri Lanka rather than Thailand and this stretch of water which is actually the Kwai Yai only got its name after the film had made the name Kwai famous.
