St Laurence's Church at Appleby.

Saturday 17th April 1993. Today with my father, uncle and cousin I enjoyed an excellent Cheshire Rail Tours excursion which included a run over the Settle & Carlisle Railway. We stopped at Appleby long enough to take some photos there. These included this one of a church. Does anyone know the name of the church?

A year or so after uploading this photo I did some research. This is St Laurence's Church which is an Anglican Parish Church. The base of the tower goes back to Norman times and 1150 although changes and additions have been made since then. It is a Grade 1 listed building.
