Virgin 57315 named "The Mole – Thunderbirds" at Rugby
Wednesday 23rd March 2005. At this time it was still usual to see a number of locomotives stabled at Rugby Station.
I was getting very poor results from my Canon EOS 300 and this poor quality print took a lot of work with the photo processor and conversion to black and white to get it presentable at all. I only persevered as it was the last photo I took with film. The problem was actually with the Tamron zoom lens I was using. I could have solved this by using another lens from my collection or just replacing the Tamron zoom which was my favourite. In the end I took the plunge and instead of just replacing the lens I also bought a Canon EOS 350D digital camera. I’d been reluctant to move on to digital photography but now I love that format.
