Peckett 0-4-0ST Lady Angela

The South Devon Railway at Buckfastleigh on Monday 22nd September 2008. Lady Angela is an 0-4-0ST built by Peckett & Sons at their Bristol Works in 1926. She was delivered new to a gypsum mine at Kingston-upon-Soar, Nottinghamshire where she spent her entire working life. In the early 1970s she was purchased for preservation and found her way to the SDR in 1976.

According to the South Devon Railway Website Lady Angela was the 2nd Lady Belper on whose family estate the locomotive worked at the gypsum mine.
