The Blue Pullman Arrives at Paddington

A 1960s shot of a Blue Pullman Set arriving at Paddington. The Great Western Railway seems not to have been a fan of Pullman Company trains and ran such a service only briefly before introducing its own similar service with its own carriages. Its successor, the Western Region of British Railways did however run Pullman services for some years and for a while used the Blue Pullman diesel multiple unit sets. By this time the Pullman Company in UK had been bought by British Railways. These units were built by Metro Cammell.
