Unidentified “Western” at Paddington (1)
A 1960s shot of an unidentified “Western” Class arriving at Paddington. I’m sure that someone more knowledgeable than me could identify the service from the head code displayed on the locomotive.
Note the Class 08 in the background. It looks like it is on empty carriage stock duty. I do not remember seeing many Class 08s at Paddington and especially so on this kind of work.
