Bagnall and Peckett 0-4-0Saddle Tanks (3)

Saturday 25th July 1992 on the Foxfield Railway. Bagnall (2623 of 1940) Harwarden and Peckett OY Class (2081 of 1947) No.11 pass the signal box at Caverswall Road, Blythe Bridge. Soon they will connect to a short passenger train which they will double head to Dilhorne Park and back. Even though there will be two locomotives on this service they will be required to work hard as the line has some very steep gradients including a 1in16 climb which is among the steepest anywhere worked by adhesion only.
