Rainy Days in Belton

Pickens Railroad Anderson Job is seen leaving Belton, SC, headed back towards their terminus in Gluck. Carloads this day were so heavy that two jobs needed to run out to handle tonnage. On the rear end of this 40+ car return train the Belton Job is helping get the big train back to town after they ran to Honea Path. With the rainy conditions the U18B's were having wheelslip issues getting the train up to speed out of town. Blue Ridge Avenue leaving town made for a nice photo location on what was an otherwise dreary day to shoot Pickens for the first time. More to come from Pickens soon!
