this cat appeared at our back door early Dec 22 .

She sat there meowing for hours and would come up and rub on us if we went out the door.

Obviously some ones pet that either got out or was abandoned.

Since then she has been living in my workshop while we have been searching for her "family".

Not one add has been putin newspapers ( they do FREE lost animal adds) or anywhere online.

I put adds in the local newspaper and at 6 places online including Craigslist and various "lost " animal sites.

We even took her to the SPCA to see if she had been reported missing (12/22) or to see if she had a "microchip" - no such luck.

 

Well , its been 5 days and it is past the end of the add in our local main newspaper , so in an hour or so , we are running her to our vet to have her checked out.

If she is healthy ( no HIV or feline leukemia) it looks like we will be keeping her.

It will make the women of the household happy , even if the felines get bent out of shape for a while LOL

BUT I told them , this IS the LAST CAT we will be taking in .

More than 5 and you become CAT HOARDERS ;-)
