Better Half wanted a casual vest that could be washed with real welt pockets deep enough for "stuff."
Adjustments to Vogue 2447 - added 1.5 inches to length. Raised welt pockets 1.5 inches to gain enough space for depth.
Made welts into welt pockets.
Added inside breast pocket deep enough for cell phone.
Sloped shoulders starting at neck , tapering to take off about 2 inches at shoulder.
Underarm adjustment taking in about 2.5 inches and tapering out to nothing at waist edge.
Not sure why the buttons look so blue in the photo - lighting? cell phone sensor?
They are much more grey in "real life."
