Thread drawer - inspiration buttons for coat

Quahog shell buttons; later dropped one and it shattered.

 

The sewing cabinet - still used - is my great grandmother's -- must be over 150 years old.

 

For completed projects where I still have a fairly full threaded bobbin, I keep thread and matching bobbin together in a little bag. I imagine it's not a good technique long term (probably makes the thread break down over time), but it works for me.

Done
