Vogue 8890 -04 facing on back pocket bag/lining
Putting the pocket facing on the pocket lining.
Couple of notes:
1. I decided to use thread the same color as the lining for all the pocket bag stitching that would be exposed on the inside of the pants.
2. When I made the muslin, the pocket bag pattern piece that came with the pattern ended up being about an of inch too high So i redrew the pocket pattern piece, using an older pattern, -- I cut the new pattern as is at the top, but added the basting line of the lower old pattern.
3. I also added an inch in length to the pocket bag, because I figured I was going to have to lower the buttonhole by 1/2 " -- so the extra length in the pocket would maintain the space needed for a wallet. However, I ended up (with my makeshift shim) being able to get my buttonhole right where it needed to be.
