Front neck edge, inside - Penwalk sewalong

Ugh. I think I seriously don't like bias binding for facings, especially on this type of fabric. Good thing this is my practice piece.

 

I would rather do two yokes, join them together at the neck and sleeve hems, sew them right sides together, clip and turn and have a nice lined inside of the yoke.

 

I am trying to be good and follow the pattern instructions. Still I cheated on this, understitched the bias binding, quelle horreur!, and hand tacked down instead of top stitching the binding edge. This fabric is not a good candidate for that type of finish.
