French seams on shoulder - Penwalk sewalong

Same deal... stitch length 3.0, size 8 microtec needle, Best Press sprayed and "pressed" on seams before stitching.

 

My memonic for french seams - 3-1-2 which translates to the number of eighths of an inch for each step: 3/8; 1/8; 2/8 (1/4).

 

Sew 3/8" right sides out; trim to 1/8" ; press, flip, press, sew 2/8" (1/4")
