2016 Queanbeyan-Palerang Regional Council - River Festival.
The River Festival is a fun-filled day of free activities for all age groups, bringing together the community and visitors to celebrate our river.
Held in the picturesque setting of Ray Morton Park, on the banks of the Queanbeyan River, this year the event incorporated:
the QPRC Enviro Expo; Walking on Water sessions for kayaks, stand-up paddle boards and tug-o-war; inflatable water balls;
a jumping castle; face painting; fantastic art and craft activities for the children; workshops for lantern making, build your own insect hotel and art journalling... and lots, lots more including the Clearwater Sculpture Prize and exhibition and great local food stalls.
