Santa Rosa Charles M. Schulz Sonoma County Airport (STS)

A cool facility with the whole "Peanuts" theme abound, however it is way too cramped for the air service it now accommodates. A large new terminal is badly needed; I believe plans are underway for one and hopefully construction will start soon. And a new parking lot can't come soon enough - on the Saturday afternoon I visited, the short-term, long-term AND overflow lots were filled. I had to park down the street on Airport Blvd. and walk back. Glad I wasn't there to leave my car and catch a flight!

This is a very difficult airport to get photos of the planes on the ramp. No windows to look through in the terminal and no vantage point could be found outside the building....
