Southern Pacific Peninsula Commute Train at San Francisco, CA - August 12, 1978

Southern Pacific leased Amtrak GE P30CH locomotives during 1978-1979 due to their normally used SDP45 locomotives were temporarily reassigned to other duties in freight service. This photo shows a train at San Francisco with unit #704 leading.
