Fontana, CA - Bono's historic giant orange on old U.S. 66 - October 12, 2000
As of writing (2022), this roadside icon has been gone from this spot for quite awhile. It is reportedly owned by the City of Fontana now and is in storage. At some point it is to be restored and placed on display again, but not on Route 66.
