Auburn, CA - interior of historic Post Office on old U.S. 40 - March 20, 2021

This Post Office (still in-service) has the claim of being the oldest one operating "West of the Mississippi" - established 1853. It is on today's Lincoln Way which was the U.S. 40 alignment through Auburn from 1928 until 1947.
