Hillsdale (San Mateo), CA Caltrain station - September 22, 2018
The old station building (circa 1941) remains in-place as the world around it continues to change. A grade-separation project in the early 1960's moved the tracks further away from the building, which resulted in a parking lot being paved right up against the structure. In a couple-of-years from now, the (grade separated) Hillsdale station of the early 1960's (seen at the back of the photo) is to be closed and relocated 0.3 miles north at the site of the old Bay Meadows stop. What will become of this historic structure?
