Hagstrom Map of Philadelphia - 1927

Even further zooming-in on the close-up of the city center area showing the location of the Pennsylvania Railroad Broad Street Station and Reading Terminal.

Reading Terminal saw it's last train in November, 1984. Train traffic that had served the terminal was then rerouted through the new city center rail tunnel which had been built to connect the ex-PRR and ex-Reading commuter rail lines. Reading Terminal itself still stands and is now the Pennsylvania Convention Center, with the historic Reading Terminal Market still occupying the lower level.
