I normally don't like to post photos of birds at my feeders, but I could not resist showing this capture of two male House Finches. The extreme color variation of the finch on the left was quite striking! I've observed orange ones several times over the years but not one so lemon- yellow before. Notice this finch, I think, has the eye disease, mycoplasmal conjunctivitis. Since the initial sighting and this photo, I have not observed this bird again.
