White-tailed Deer by Jackie B. Elmore 6-6-2015 Alligator River NWR, NC

I was able to photograph this doe while we were out searching for black bear at the Alligator River National Wildlife Refuge. Notice how many deer ticks are on the ears and face of this poor gal. It's a tough life in the wild!
