Huntington Dog Beach 082911

We took a trip down to Huntington Beach for a last hurrah for Tracy, who was heading back to VA soon. R0ndo, Roz and I picked up Meg and met Tracy and Sam at the beach. (Apache stayed home: she doesn't like crashing waves.)
Frisbee, dogs and sand and cool water made for the usual great day-- especially considering that the temps back home were hovering around 108! The beach was a pleasant 79.
After the sand, we headed off to "The Pelican's Roost" for dinner. Mainly chosen because they allow dogs on the patio, they also had a great menu and really decent food.
