Animal Summer 2011

Just some snapshots of the animals of this summer.
My muddy border collies; the husky-mix twins; my friend's cats; evil raccoon.
BTW, the ominous-looking pipe in the creep pictures isn't some toxic waste outlet-- it's just a culvert that diverts the creek under the path. Most dangerous thing in it are probably the crayfish.
Cats: Fluff (table, shadows); Columbus (grass) and Jaspurr (annoyed, sleeping).
Puppies are Watson and Mindy (tan-black).
The tarantula I met on a walk one night. I tried to help it across the street using a hole-ridden McD's bag. Spider was annoyed...and *surprisingly* fast! Several times he almost crawled out of the bag and up my arm (<--to my horror). Managed to get him across to continue his search for his perfect other (and eventual *doom*-- spiders are such an appropriate allegory for dating...)
