Warhorse

Behind the scenes at the production of Warhorse in London. The horses are masterworks of puppetry. The performance is magnificent.

The Puppeteer/Prop & Puppet Manager was on his way out when we asked if we could see the puppets and--despite looking dead on his feet--was above-and-beyond-nice and took us back stage. I left him a gift the next day--I hope he got it!

The horses move magnificently onstage and seeing the build details one can understand why. This is master-work leather and rattan construction, with brilliant mechanical parts.
