EF2010 Friday

Friday was my big talk, so I spent most of the day getting ready for it.

Friday was also the one panel I -really- wanted to see: Stan Sakai (of Usagi Yojimbo fame) doing a chalk-talk on Yokai (Japanese goblins, spirits and monsters). He was wonderful! Funny, informed and his art was gave me a new perspective on the subject.

I also managed to sneak into the dealers room. It was much larger than last year by double, but still crowded! Hope they did well.

There was a fantastic mask-maker there, too: he's a friend of Atalon (a talented costume maker) and makes his traditional masks out of wood. Amazing work!

Friday was also the day I discovered the joy of schnitzel. I love it...and it's so bad for me.
