Mystery Ramp

At the top of the tram, there was this ramp to nowhere. No safety lines or chains blocking it off for safety, just a wooden deck that at about the half-way point just started a perfectly smooth angle downwards. There were two tiny flags at the corners at the bottom, but nothing else. I did not walk to the bottom...
