Mystery Mound

I only got this picture of the mystery mound: it took me too long to get my camera out. The mound is small-ish (but not tiny-- see the cars down at the bottom for reference). There is a very thin, green path that you can see part of leading from the mound to the road. What is this?!? A prehistoric religious site?
